I believe I should purchase this simply because its almost identical to a suit I had at the age of 10 which I loved. Possibly that was the start of my nautical garment obsession. I wonder where all my childhood clothes are now. Hmm…..
Quite possibly my most played song of this beautiful month. Sort of a strange juxtaposition I believe.
Papa Roach - I Almost Told You That I Loved You (2009)
Got to love Victorian adverts, these days its just someone trying to sell a sideboard.
One image that changes your life there and then. I think this is it. Technically its a moving image before anyone gets ‘cocky ey’. I’ve never been a major fan of miss Gaga but her costume here on the Judas video, her nails and design, her haircolour and make-up (especially the wine lipstick) strike me down. I adore it a lot and I know for a fact elements are creeping into my wardrobe. Is it sad? A little, i’ll admit and agree. I have a lot of love for the whole video and mise en scène.
Please don’t do this to me world….there’s fur in this and a Leto…..im feeling cushy and ohh so…how cute…how really adorable. I want both….There, I said it. Happy.
Debating my fashion move for the weekend. I’ll take inspiration from the girls themselves. Psyched for Boy George and Bananarama.
Finding songs from years past always delights me quite a lot. 5 years ago this song was released. Where has time fluttered too.
Pull Tiger Tail - Lets Lightening 2007
Today i’ve been asked to participate in a salon vs. salon event by my hairdresser acting as a model. Im priiitty excited (see I extended a word there that means im excited). Their brief is Avant Garde. That makes me excited and hysterical. I may be transformed into an 18th century, love heart lipped, ruffle dress wearing model. Some hairstyles as shown by Google Images are stunning. Wawawee (Jibberish talk).
Avant Garde: The advance group in any field, especially in the visual, literary, or musical arts, whose works are characterizedchiefly by unorthodox and experimental methods.
I adore this promotional material. Long live my modern day Madonna, Darren Hayes (Yes that guy who was in 90’s band Savage Garden years ago). He creates such amazing work, lyrically, visually and verbally. From the first page his lyrical capability can be seen, disguised by symbols, whichever designer thought of that needs a pat on the back. The front pages all look very pristine. In my opinion he truly is a hidden gem. There are some stills on his website from the new music video too which look stunning, im excited quite a fair bit here, my pop dancing shoes are itching.
